Jim Rutledge, presents this Rye blend, following the tremendous reception of Cream of Kentucky Bourbon. This blend includes rye whiskies from Kentucky Artisan Distillery (known for Jefferson's), Ohio's Middle West Distillery, Indiana's MGP, and New York Distilling Co. Designed for genuine rye enthusiasts, all included ryes are a minimum of 4 years old, with mashbills ranging from 51% rye to a full 100% rye.
When taking a sniff, you'll notice aromas of fresh rye bread sprinkled with caraway, accented by black pepper, dill, apricot, and a subtle hint of roasted chocolate. Tasting it, you're greeted by a spicy mix of dried herbs, toffee, green tea, citrus, and stone fruits. The finish is marked by notes of black pepper, cinnamon, and oak. It's bottled at a strength of 48.5% abv.
